When you look at Superman, he has almost every power imaginable. Boring much? And Batman? No powers. Yeah, he’ll discover your weakness&exploit it by giving you seizures or heart attacks… But Flash? This man can travel at lightspeed, meaning that if you hear him running from Miami, he’d already be in Hawaii! Also, he could land more blows on your body with his fists than your wife ever could with her mouth! PLUS, he could go back&forth in time! Like, how do you beat this guy? You think you’ve got ‘im good&then suddenly, BAM! He prevented your mother from meeting your father thirty years ago&therefore, you were never born! That’s Flash. Summed up in a flash.
The green hair, the maniacal cackle… You know exactly who he is&how far he’d go to put a smile on your face. Arguably the biggest thorn in the Dark Knight’s Batside (next to Ivy), Joker is Batman’s #1 adversary, as well as his polar opposite. Both were created by a great tragedy, but Batman has vowed to do whatever it takes to prevent similar incidents while Joker revels in creating chaos, believing that life’s a big joke. Not much is known about his past, but his acts during the present are what define him as one of the greatest threats to the world. He’s killed a Robin, crippled a Batgirl, and tortured&murdered countless people… Just for a laugh. Physical attacks are not his fortay, though he has been known to pummel people with crowbars. Chemical weapons, bombs, punching gloves, acid squirting flowers, and more are the commonplace gags Joker likes to run with.
A man is only as good as his word. But in the underground world of mercenaries, words mean little. What matters is completing the mission. That’s what makes you good. Never failing — even when it comes to taking down some of the most powerful beings in the world — that is what makes you the best. That is what makes you Deathstroke. A military man, Slade Wilson was recruited into the special ops unit Team 7. Willing to do whatever he could to better himself, Wilson underwent an experimental procedure that granted him enhanced speed, strength, and intelligence, effectively making him the world’s greatest soldier. Following the disbandment of his squad, a jaded Wilson used his powers as a guns-for-hire&quickly gained a name for himself in the criminal world as the man to call when you want to make sure the job will get done. Beyond his heightened senses, Deathstroke has high intelligence, which makes him a master tactician. He is capable of standing toe-to-toe against some of the most gifted fighters like Batman. Never content with an easy assignment, Deathstroke continuously takes on tougher tasks, constantly pushing himself further with an unwavering focus on getting the job done no matter how ruthless, deadly, or manipulative he must be. He is, without question, the world’s greatest assassin&one of the most feared people on the planet.
